What happens under the cherry trees… stays in bloom 🌸
Hey love,
Every year, just as the chill of winter begins to fade, something magical happens in Amsterdamse Bos, the cherry blossoms bloom, and for a few short weeks, the forest feels like something from a dream.
The Kersenbloesempark (Cherry Blossom Park) is home to 400 Japanese cherry trees, a generous gift from the Japanese Women’s Club. Each tree is named after a woman, half with Japanese names, half with Dutch ones, celebrating the connection between our two cultures.
It’s the kind of place where time slows down. The soft pink petals drifting in the breeze, the early morning sunlight filtering through the branches… it’s peaceful, a little poetic, and honestly just really beautiful.
I spent a morning there, soaking it all in. and of course, I brought you with me. 💕 Watch the video below and make sure you’ve got your sound on; a little music is half the magic.
Sometimes, all it takes is a walk under the blossoms to feel completely renewed.
With warm sensual thoughts,
O’Neill
